DIY Can Save You Money!
Time for a riddle! What happens when you drive over the end of a garden hose with your car?
You get a very flattened hose end.
Not that I would know this through first hand experience or anything...... :)
If you should accidentally damage the end of your garden hose, don't despair. Garden hoses can be easily repaired with just a few simple steps. Repairing a garden hose is much cheaper than buying a new one, and it is a project that almost anyone can do regardless of DIY ability.
Below is a very useful video tutorial that I found on You Tube. It will show you step-by-step how to repair a damaged hose end.
This tip is also useful if you should accidentally run the lawn mower over the end of your hose, too. Not that I would know anything about that, either........... :)
On a somewhat related topic, if anyone is interested in DIY home projects and repairs I highly recommend the Home Improvement 1-2-3 Book by Home Depot. I bought one years ago and it is probably the most useful book I have ever owned.
